We will then all have lunch together with the pizzas made. We will spend a fantastic day, an unforgettable ride through Tuscany, discovering how to be a pizza maker and how to choose the best products to add to your pizza straight from the garden. Enjoy with us the wonderful surrounding views of the Tuscan hills in a family atmosphere among the hills surrounding Peccioli the most beautiful village in Italy.

BIKE TOUR DETAILS

The bike tour will start at 10:30 am from the Peccioli near Volterra and San Gimignano. After a brief explanation on e-bike use, we will begin our bike tour along the Tuscan landscapes. The Tuscany bike tour will follow typical Tuscan villages to take beautiful photos of vineyards, olive groves and beautiful bike roads.

During the e-bike cycling tour of Tuscany, we will stop for an incredible pizza lesson at our best selected organic farm on the Tuscan hilltop. After a brief introduction, don your cute souvenir apron and start learning how to prepare the wood-fired oven and then bake your own pizza.

You’ll start mixing water, flour, sourdough, salt…get your hands ready to work on the dough! While waiting to shape your dough, think about the produce you will want to put in and follow the chef to the garden to select seasonal produce that you will then use to customize your pizza.

But don’t forget that you are in Tuscany…so why not take the opportunity to get the chef’s recommendation for a recipe for “schiacciata all’olio” the typical Tuscan bread crush with olive oil from the farm? AND THAT’S NOT ALL!!!!!!!! You’ll be able to bake your pizza in the wood-fired oven like a professional pizzaiolo!

At the end of the Tuscan pizza-making course , we will all have lunch together with an appetizer and prepared pizzas to enjoy with the farm’s wine or craft beer. We will also be happy to provide you with a printed recipe that you can use to enjoy being a “Tuscan pizzaiolo” even when you return home! We had a great day out riding to a pizza making course. The bikes were new, they had great equipment for my children and all with a smile. The pizza making course was brilliant! Our tour was awesome! Fabrizio and Juliette were very personable, they made us feel more like friends than customers. The bikes provided were in very good condition and a quick intro from Fabrizio and Juliette made them a breeze to ride. The tour took us through the beautiful Tuscany landscapes with viewpoints and photo ops along the way. Fabrizio and Juliette are knowledgeable and shared interesting local tips as we cycled. We rode at the perfect pace for our level of experience and we were lucky to enjoy some local Tuscan specialties before we finished the day. My wife and I absolutely loved the trip with Fabrizio and Juliettte. Great way to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Fabrizio and Juliette are an amazing husband and wife team who took us on an incredible journey through the Tuscan countryside. One view was more beautiful than the next. The pace was very comfortable on amazing electric bikes. We stopped at the home of a local win maker maker and he treated us to five different kinds of wine that he served with every beautiful Italian food you could imagine from fresh cheeses to meat and a wonderful espresso at the end.  Verificata Great Family Bike Trip! Just beautiful!
We had the best day! Fabrizio and Juliette made sure of that. I called ahead to make reservations, and was immediately pleasantly surprised by Juliette’s enthusiasm and warmth. The e-bikes were fully prepped upon arrival (two adults and two eight year old) and Fabrizio patiently explained how they worked to the kids. He also shared a great Family friendly route on Google Maps via WhatsApp, so we could follow directions via the phone holder on the steer. Just perfect! It was marvelous biking through the Tuscan hills, along cypress trees and colorful villages. The stops at pittoresk cafes made it a truly Italian experience. During the Tuscany cycling tour by e-bike we will stop for an amazing pizza making class on our best selected organic farm on Tuscany top hill. After a short presentation, put on your nice souvenir apron and start learning how to prepare the wood-fired oven for then cooking your pizza.

You will start to knead water, flour, sourdough, salt … prepare your hands to work on the knead! Waiting to give your knead the shape, think about the products you wish to put on and follow the chef to the vegetable garden to select the seasonal products which you will then use to personalize your pizza.

But don’t forget you are in Tuscany…so why don’t you take the occasion to catch from the chef the recipe of the typical “schiacciata all’olio” the typical Tuscany crushed bread with the farm’s olive oil ? AND IT IS NOT ALL !!!!!!!! You will be able to bake your pizza into the wood-fired oven as a professional Pizza maker !
